Village Design Statement Update
Mr Davidson has produced a draft VDS and flyer for parishioners feedback. This has been distributed this to the parish councillors for their comments.  Mr Davidson reported that the revised VDS has used a lot of the material from the original VDS and integrated this with relevant points from Sedgemoor’s Core Strategy document.  The aim of the VDS would be to ensure there is a clear message to prospective developers as well as helping the council to make decisions on individual planning applications.
The Chairman thanked Mr Davidson and the council congratulated Mr Davidson on his efforts.

Waterways & Road Survey:
The Clerk to contact Somerset County Council again concerning the issues with the culvert under Coombe Lane.
Mr Davidson to purchase an ordnance survey map of the village and surrounding parish in order to start to record the many features in the village including parish / village boundary lines and footpaths.   JPEG Maps would also prove useful for recording road and waterways conditions surveys
The next parish council meetings scheduled are a planning meeting on Wednesday 16th January 2013 & the usual monthly meeting on Wednesday 13th February 2013 at 7.30 p.m.   All are welcome.
